P.S. long post, contains many unpublished and delayed and owed articles!

TB05's fun. they have given me much happy memories especially when i feel so happy and poly life seem to have been made more interesting because of them. people like Qaiser and Marcus and a never ending load of jokes, having fun and smiles.

TB05 is mixed of laughters and attentiveness. when it's time to pay attention we would. homework is done, we give no tutors problem except for a few blacksheeps in my class (me included).

the 'Brotherhood', Terence, Daniel, Andy, and myself in TB05 have been closer. we've done so much more things together, projects, lunches, dinner, happiness, jokes, etc. it's like im so free and i feel bonded with them. i guess that's poly? but well at least these guys make me feel much more belonging as compared to my sec sch cliques.

i have made many friends in poly i'd say. "Mr Popular" as termed. i beg to differ though. i only KNOW people, im not close with everyone and everyone is not my budddy. nonetheless i know i've made some buddies like Terence and Andy which i treasure and can count on.

let's recall:

DSS (Excel) PBL group. i'd say this time the groups arent so bonded as compared to Sem 1. the project requirements and the nature of this module explains. Excel is more of a individual work kinda thing. it really takes good teamwork and coordination to co-prepare an Excel spreadsheet.

and it's unlike those Data Entries work. cos they already have Excel spreadsheets templates to follow and colleagues just fill up information in the same spreadsheet which is then submitted after a final check.

whereas we have to start anew, w/o any prior good knowledge of Excel. it's more of a group's hands-on learning experience.

i think the blurry effect is cool. (it happens when it's on Anti-Shake, and the photographer moves the camera too quickly after the photo)

look at the scores. so much for playing CS during class as though training for some competition yet when challenged by Terence, "Andy's-best-friend" (their fights) Criss still cant win Terence.

losing isnt a problem. but losing with THIS, IS a problem! sometimes it's just the human pride and ego that hinders us most.

but admitting defeat is sometimes just the best thing to do. blaming the whole world, resort to using cheats, being a sore loser, ain't!

winning is great. boasting, grinning, laughing at people's misery, ain't.

cool composure, concentration, sportsmanship's best.

i'd never be able to beat Terence at CS i guess. he's way too good. ex-Singapore-top-snipers.

Ngai Kay (Gay). "star student for MAEC". it's extremely rare to see him in jeans. he's always going to gym and in a gymming outfit LOL. sometimes we wonder whether his school fees are spent gymming or studying. heh =x.

Mrs Ng Mun Kit is great and fun! she's witty and her knowledge of MAEC is totally undoubted. i'd say i have pretty much the best tutors for both Econs. Mr Matthew Pon was really cool too.

pretty much more-than-deserved their decorated expression-of-gratitude cards!

i was really contented with the results of Test 2 as i worked really hard for it after the bad Common Test results. but im utterly disappointed with my Final Test (read later to find out why).

actually what BLAW tutor had said IMO is not really relevant to what is being tested. his teaching is okay only that his emphasis for Final Exam is alil off! =/.

a pretty nice and cosy place with fans, rather quiet, a must-have vending machine nearby, power sockets, and what's more? GREEN environment for ur eyes too!

i guess our study gatherings is where we bond the most. usually it's Andy and I, Terence joins us sometimes, Daniel's joins us too... at the last minutes. we'd get can drinks for each other w/o asking, treating and spurring each other.

we ~~play~~ , we gossip, we digress, we chat, we ENJOY our time, even though it's studying. it gets really boring sometimes. unproductivity is inevitable.

we exchanged pointers, helped each other out (thanks Andy!!), reminded each other, gave each other challenging questions, cleared our doubts, studied wrong things (unfortunately), etc. it just make studying alil fun.

traffic congestion --> 1 hour just from Batok Interchange to Hwa Chong!
terrible road conditions. wish i could forgo the aircon riding a bike sometimes.

oh and Innov8's 8X Digital Zoom rocks

human congestion. it's just equally as bad lah! no bus wants to stop @ NP from 8.30pm - 9pm! Terence and I had to walk over to SIM for bus-snatching! and our perfect idea of a ~~fully-equipped masssage reclining back seat with enjoyable aircon bus ride~~ became a shoulder-shoulder brushing, BAG-BACK(no typo!) hot and stuffy bus ride!

so much for our hard work in studying!
we studied until night for this? :(
damn night students lol.

Grilled Chicken. it's quite tender and fresh. price's reasonable for this.

Tomato Soup. it kinda taste ordinary. nothing special. hmmm.

alil pricey Seafood Ee Fu Noodles. quite nice though not fantastic. obviously the noodle boy will be delighted when i get to feast on authentic HK noodles! :)

dear's recommendation is mediocre... noodles are pretty dry and the spaghetti bolognese sauce is like from Domino's.

and of course not to mention there's still good ole' school food!!

i'd advise all non-freshmen away from Makan Place for the first week of school cos i think it will be superly crowded with all the freshmen wanting to try the airconditioned canteen LOL. unless u people wanna hit on ur freshies then go ahead!! hahaha :)

oh btw, spot the differences. i wonder why they take away all the wordings. LOL.

actually, speaking of mediocre, almost everything in Makan Place tastes mediocre. nothing's exceptionally nice or something. well it may be delicious and tasty, but after eating awhile, it kinda tastes 'the usual'.

Hotmail Closing Email. (yet again)

this is how the email looks like when u havent opened it

1. seems convincing? reminder: Hotmail have all ur passwords and account credentials, why do they need u to verify this? it even has a scrolling maréquee that says "CONFRIM YOUR WINDOWS LIVE ACCOUNT SERVICES. VERIFY YOUR HOTMAIL ACCOUNT NOW TO AVOID IT CLOSED !!!"
2. real Hotmail emails do not have a real hotmail address, it's just uniquely hotmail addresses, not some bullshit name! communications@microsoft.msn.com if u really need to email Windows Live Hotmail Team.
3. what a scam this person have created for u to reply to his/her email
4. can u imagine what this scammer would do with ur hotmail? HE WILL DELETE IT ! They have all ur account credentials and country and whatever information they need to delete your account!!
5. just scan thru the email, just read how badly written it is, totally not a formal English email from Hotmail informing u of such.
6. CNN, Channel News Asia, BNN, The Straight Times, etc. all would be reporting news abt Hotmail closure of accounts if any of these were true.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate Email.

whatz with Dubai? LOL.

it's an email that basically tell u not to use Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) and look out for products containing SLS in them. SLS is basically a very common ingredient in toothpastes, body lotions, floor cleaner, and many other products. SLS on wiki . the email claimed that it contains carcinogen (subsequently leading to cancer).

it's busted.

snopes.com's coverage on it it's really weird how people can actually believe all these. if it's so contagious and everything, it'll be extensively reported in the news and everywhere so that the govt will ban the import and sale of these SLS products. true?

Happy "牛" (Niu) Year

Rotines: Reunion Dinner, Ang Paos, "Happy New Year" smses, Bak Kua, (BLOODY MAKEUP TUTORIALS AND LECTURES)

mum has a real tendency to over cook and foods end up being kept for days and days and finally ending up in the rubbish bin. while her intentions are good they usually end up a waste. ohwells! look at the spread for our Reunion Dinner!

it's not a surprise to gain weight, definitely!

same annual routine. last min packing of the house, mum's nagging, after the happy CNY shouts and sms that came pouring in, first thing's visiting temples. quite traditional but ya, at least we're better in the sense that we dun compete for the first person to place the joss stick LOL.

1st was Sheng Hong Temple @ Teban Gardens, which neared our old condo residence that had been en-bloc away. the usual friendly uncle, unfriendly incense smoke and puffy eyes, sweet-takings, 'blessed water' (from Kuan Yim) & some flowers collection, greetings to Buddha and trying to decipher some secret 4D numbers that the lion dancers left there. LOL :D.

it's a pretty nice place which we always go to annually for our CNY. the first thing we do. i guess CNY's the only period i can feel our family closeness and bonding. hmmm... read the Predictions for 2009 too. Horse's pretty good (as u may have realised a few posts ago!)

2nd was the temple @ Bukit Gombak, the golden Kuan Yim overlooking the driving circuit. this is more Buddhism-centred while Sheng Hong was more Taoist-centred. temples in Singapore are usually not Buddhism-centred if u realise. offered greetings and requested protection and blessings. i really do hope to pass my driving when i get back to the temple on 22nd or 23rd march again to pray for blessings.

had some clothes for CNY, some last minute shopping @ Bugis. i guess my taste in clothes are changing. i no longer like those double-layered tees any more (probably cos they are more expensive in comparison). i prefer those funky and cool tees!

Devil's always free muahahaha.

inspired by Red Alert 3 i guess. hahaha. Soviet FTW! :D.
(i dun doubt Japan's usefulness though)
anyway i needed a bright coloured tee and i dun want something too complicated. hmmm

all that i have bought @ Bugis today.

初一 was at maternal granny's place. i really love my granny's place there cos it's my personal income bonus annually! LOL :D. and u'd know why pretty soon. im more closer to the Ong family there too. i feel more personal, more free and able to share things and work things out as a family. and i love my grandparents there too!

arent they cuddly cute at their ripe old age? hahaha.

look at the spread! wahahaha. abalones at will :D. this year's food arent as good as the previous years i'd say!

Uncle Meng with camera. he's a really nice uncle. especially to my mum. histories proven. for one, he used to give us angpaos when he was doing well economically even when he was divorced.

a single day's collection. get what i mean now when i say bonus? wahahaha! if excluding my dad's and mum's it'd be abt $130 less.

piles of clothes to iron!! seriously that kinda weighed a lot. placed too many clothes to washed at once and it accumulated to this pile!! ROAR!!
if only i had a maid, sigh!

gambled and lost at mahjong back at Lim family residence. my cousin / 'gan-jie' had great luck and won all the way. i never won once lah!! :(. was winning at Blackjack with $2 bets (miraculously increasing my stake) against dad until Uncle Ray took over and we all starting losing with 21s, Blackjacks, and high counts. ROAR!

didnt go visiting to friends house this year sadly. perhaps poly bonds arent so closely forged yet? next CNY im very sure i would visit many houses! :D. secondary sch friends dun call me to bai-nian. some dun even reply to new year greetings. lol well, what can i say but i've done my best? :).

waited long enough until the end of CNY to get my hair cut (after getting irritated by its length for sucha long time!!). it's only $3.80, salon-standard, professional cutting. i guess their profit is due to the sheer number of people whose hair they cut.

i believe that once they raise their prices their customer base will drop for sure. i'd say im pretty satisfied with the haircut and i guess i would not be going to yuhua village for haircuts anymore. poor aunty wendy =x.

but u cant blame me either. $3.80 and $12, which will u pick? i cant really feel the difference except that sense of friendliness back at yuhua village!

it's been a long time since fB had a chance of meeting up. we've all been busy with our things. at the way things seem, fB seem to be only meeting up for birthdays, which some people even cannot make it. well not to blame anyone but we are all getting busy as we progress and move on (hopefully ahead) in life.

while there are many things beyond our control. even a small celebration like this can be greatly appreciated as it get etched into our memories. let's look back:

we met up at jurong point after i waited for yeecheng at campus cos he had to tie up certain matters with Primers. some political stuff lah, quite stupid actually. ohwells, we were late in meeting the rest and end up seetheng couldnt join us and went ahead with tiffany and gang. i was venturing into JP 2 for the first time and realised how big it was - there were so many shops.

clothing-apparel wise, JP 2 have clothing-apparel i want, just glancing at the stores not even going in to take a closer look. i know i will get tempted to buy them if i do! wahahaha. i guess i will be going back to JP 2 if i some spare cash on hand! :)

yeecheng, the star aka main actor of the day wahahaha.
u will know why pretty soon!

i guess this might be the last fB outing too. well things arent going too well for us i'd say. no one wants to put in effort to organise and bring the whole group together. some even contemplated leaving the group (and im quite sure have already done so).

it's alil painful to look back of all our memories and letting it end liddat. well nonetheless all things have to come to an end one day and i'd say that throughout the entire fB times i'd say that i had alot of happy and sad times.

fB has been accidentally set up when i called myself "h0n3y d3w" and wilson "DaxIgUa". later peiyu, seetheng and yuling kinda managed to get themselves fruit-named and became part of fB. yeecheng was kinda brought and invited in later.

i'd say that if this is the way fB separates, there isnt anyone to be blamed specifically. as i said, what goes up MUST come down. thatz relative to Albert Einstein theories.

fB might be accidentally separated this way too.

Chee Kuay, anyone?

taught criss alil bit of skating today. a real practical application of what i've learnt at my skate coaching career. i managed to a deal to teach criss skate for a Pastamania treat yay! :D.

criss have no prior (official) learning experience on skates except a few ~~practice~~ (falling-down) sessions. LOL. anyway i ventured ard Batok area in search for a good spot to conduct the informal lesson.

Required:
1. a big open space
2. preferably free from debris
3. preferably free from sunlight / rain
4. smooth ground (unlike roads and pavements)
5. few dangerous objects (e.g. trees, pillars, human, etc.)

thatz all i kinda can think of at the moment

and the only idea that came to my mind as Multi Storey Carparks. but we must go the highest level so there isnt cars and any obstruction. Multi Storey Carparks are the best because they fulfil all the criteria, especially those deserted level 4/5 sheltered carparks.

in our case, since criss couldnt travel far (maybe possible but with the Guardian pharmacies and Watson's nearby all running out of stocks for medical supplies. LOL :D) and after i was tired roaming up and down so many multi storey carparks, decided to settle for one that even has a lift to the rooftop multi storey carpark. perfect for our skating.

it's extremely huge and it fulfils all the other criteria except that it isnt a rain / shine location. i'd really like that location for any trainings and stuff if only there is shelter.

but heck! alil sun is good for the body muahaha.

rotating the wheels of my skates while waiting for criss to be on full guards (- the helmet) and skates. and oh look at the damage of my skates. it's so ugly and dirty. time for me to find some time to clean it thoroughly again.

it'd really wished i had spent more the other time to get a SEBA high. :(.
it'd have been so muchmuchmuch more better lah!

i'd say criss is learning pretty okay. not too fast, not too slow. he's picking up okay and of course much easier to teach to teach as compared to those kiddy students. hahaha.

My Review:
- learning okay. great pace.
- follows instructions
- committed and passionate.
- can improve: bending of knees and edging.

Photographs are like wine - they just get better with age

cant agree with this statement further!

wine taste better as they they age and ferment, as a result, increasing their market value since the time it was produced (upward inflationary pressure on price --> LOL econs!) it's a weird phenomenon. click here to know!

beautifully taken pictures add value to normal photos. pictures really say a thousand words and beautifully taken pictures will actually enhance that 20 times better! true not? think abt the time u captured something on film and it turns out to hold many valuable memories!

blogged is a photoshoot i committed. i couldnt commmit to an earlier photoshoot. but managed to fix a time and finally showcase some of calvin's photography ! :).

i knew my photographer from shubin and i must say i was kinda scared at first and didnt really wanna meet up with them. however we cliqued pretty well after our first outing to doing something illegal before i turn 18 (linkback: here ).

shubin was late. had lunch @ CausewayPoint PastaMania and the pasta there and the sauce is really so much better than westmall's. i reminisce the first time i ate and got hooked onto PastaMania - it's right after olvl results collection that we ate there!!

was given much advice, pointers, and some guidance from photographer to improve and get it captured. hahaha. i was like so noob that poor photographer had to show me some poses and i just try to improvise and adapt while trying to be as natural as possible.

somehow i rhink the shots didnt really show the out-of-place feel. well becos personally i myself also duno what is out-of-place anyway!! but i kinda like the shots nonetheless. i was more comfortable with the candid ones! it's more natural and it comes 'just like that'.

been getting plenty of feedback abt the photos so far. some are rather disturbing ones. but i personally think that it's really different from the normal photos i have!

even Pat Law has gave feedback. interestingly, that attracted a lot of attention! (Tops my blog hits for 7 weeks!)

while it came in the form of a reality check, or rather, i had to put it in that way (apparent to the what-i-have-to-say is an extremely negative blogpost). there is untruth and misunderstandings in the post and comments, but i cant stop what people are thinking, right?

still looking forward to the next photoshoot. i need more photos to add to my portfolio, especially those closeup ones and halfbody and fullbody ones before photographer would send in to modeling agencies. sounds interesting ya? :)

we walked thru that to gain a shortcut, but in the end decided not to jump over a big drain and hence walked a long way thru the other side to finally reach where we want to reach.

hahaha. looks are deceiving :)

sunset comparsion & photoshoot area (Samsung Innov8 VS Nikon CoolPix 58). pretty nice area indeed huh? cycling, blading, picnic, slacking, etc. there's even people on minature-bike-like thingy that can actually accelerate quite fast!! the slopes there are scary for a blader.

but it may also pose a great challenge! :)

been having alot of "eating out"s. i'd say some of the food is nice though! :). read on to find out!

1. Makan Place

Where?
Ngee Ann Poly, Block 51 - Block 53, damn obvious! :)

What?

Food court, 口福 Kou Fu .

Service / Others
Self-Service. Ventilation's bad (you can smell food items smell, cooking them smell, fortunately NOT toilet smell! :D)

Overall
8/10. Wide variety available. prices are reasonably charged, slightly cheaper than normal foodcourts. fully airconditioned, relatively clean, quite crowded, nice deco, great place to people-watch too! :).

Claypot Hor Fun
Overall: 6/10.
the horfun isnt really to my liking. the gravy's mediocre. easily beaten by coffeeshops'.

Overall: 8.5/10
not bad, the noodles's nice, quite authetic (i havent tried noodles from HK itself) but have tasted quite a lot of noodles!
a really wide variety of ingredients!! really worth ur $2.50!

not for those who cant take chilli! it's really quite spicy, and the noodles fairly okay, and the ingredients reasonable.

2. Fast Food: KFC & Mac

Bukit Batok Treasures

it was totally random and unexpected. i wanted company for my lunch so i asked eunice out and to my joy she was free!! randomly we decided to skate too since im so lazy to walk anyway. had lunch at the MingChing coffeeshop then headed to Bukit Batok Nature Park.

been wanting to go there since i always pass by it whenever i go to sch and near wilson house. and i would never have expected it to be that beautiful! first up, the place is pretty much quite quiet and deserted! there isnt much activities going on and anything more than what is usual conversations, jogging sound, etc. would be counted as noise. that is how quiet it is.

u can literally whisper and the other party can hear! it's so quiet we could practically hear the squirrels and birds flapping. well it's pretty small for a park but well definitely it's fun to these kinda things once in awhile.

spot him!!

skating there fun and pretty quick too! eunice, self-taught and self-learnt, is quite good on rollerblades (surprisingly!). used park connectors to reach that place. carpark leading to the entrance was very rocky though! the slope from AutoBACS down to Block 288 area is the crazy slope! going by the Nature Park is much more safer and comfortable! but it starts at towards the Courts and road leading to Bukit Panja Plaza that area.

Hairy VS Feathered
they fly too fast and i'd take me too long to get the camera to focus so i doubt i'll ever be catching a photo of them anyway.

had difficulty moving to all the places cos most of the pathways are fitted with weird holes and weird ridges where our wheels would get stuck in. and it's really Bukit not for nothing!! there is so many steep hills that would totally put our skating skills to the test lah.

luckily the normal track was really smooth and nice! this cool playground have people even playing cricket, a sport kinda out-of-place in singapore.

quiet spots for couples; perfect for a nice and slow walk; jogging with ur pets; having a small Sunday outing; nice landscape, flowers, birds, animals, trees for photography; sports like cycling, rollerblading and running; soccer; frisbee; etc.

nice landscapes add to this cool environment and fresh air!!

shelter areas and some nice open space for picnics and others! :D

hmmm. it's like i didnt even know despite living here for like 9 years already!
treasures arent easily found!!

and yes i duno whatz that Mobile Signal Transmitter ! lol. but probably thatz why the connection is quite good in batok hahaha.

this Lookout Point is kinda nice!!
gotta admit that eunice's kinda cute :D:D

this is a super steep slope!! and right ahead is the main road.
it's STOP OR DIE!
didnt go down conventionally T-Brake of something, had to go down really slowly cos the accceleration and speed is really HAVOC!
if only i masterd my PowerSlide and other slides then i would just slide down! :):).
which is why i think the 3 mini barriers are there for, and YET...

typical mind of a Sec 3?? LOL :D.

headed to Mac's for refreshments then practised alil at the Multi Purpose Hall before i cut my finger accidentally and went home. fun day out i'd say! :D:D.

well, i've presented the features of Bukit Batok Nature Park already and i guess i will explore more of Bukit Batok and present them here! :D:D:D.

and at the end of a tired day, u can get to watch beautiful sunset at ur block.

and coming to think of it, i think that actually my place, Bukit Batok Street 11, has losta treasures! there is great food just that we have gotten bored of eating and tasting the same taste over the 10 years we've lived here.

there are 24 hour shops all ard, 7-11, Cheers, M-Mart (the cheapest). there are supermarkets NTUC, Cam Mart, Prime! Guardian, key services, disc rentals, Chinese medical hall, barber, salons, photocopy and stationary, IT shop, game shop, POSB Bank, parks, skate park, KFC, 24hr Mac, Canadian Pizza, general hardware shops, bubble tea, interior design, beauty studio, 4D shop, dental, doctor, polyclinic, 6 coffeeshops nearby!!

all mentioned above are within walking distance (10mins max) / skating distance (5 mins max). hmm, actually batok's not that bad after all! hmm..

Therefore,

it's NP Open House !

and it's over.

anyway, i'd say NP has pretty much did it's planning and homework to try and attract more students into NP. well actually i personally feel there's no need for so much hoo-ha cos people would naturally know abt the polys and the promotions abt the Open House help boost NP's reputation alil i guess?

what NP really need to improve on is the buildings. they're so old and need alot of reconstruction and renovations lah. it's like always the same old places, Our Space, and now, newly-opened Makan Place... every other part of the sch sounds ulu and not many people would actually go there lah.

just look at it. now i know why students from other schools tell me that NP focuses alot on it's business schools and stuff. the buildings and all the good stuff are ard School of BA lah. not saying that it's bad (obviously it's good!), but sometimes abit sians plus it's unfair to the other schools too!

NP should really do a total makeover of the campus in the coming 2 months holiday. everyone's talking abt how much NP is so old as compared to RP and even SP, the oldest poly ard!

anyway, COME NP! thatz what i tell all O level graduating people. i promote NP lol. i also tell them the bad points of NP. hopefully they would come lah.

* hopefully balance NP's calibre of hot gals and guys!!

went ard with criss and terence to add some fun to the Open House. saw Ms. Shireen (and damn i found out she's got Facebook!), lecturer for ITB and discussed and chatted and talk crap with her for quite some time.

headed to School of BA next, but terence had to go meet up with his LMS groupmates so me and criss headed to School of BA (where there is much fun and everything there!) after placing our stuffs at Underpass locker.

tried to get some freebies from OurSpace but criss didnt have his ezlink card and freaking NP is so cheapo that they dun allow NP students and insist on seeing patron's ezlink cards before allowed entry. damn!

why so cheapo despite earning 2.5k from each student each year?
seriously.

was trying to play some of the games the various courses have planned for us. but they kinda recognised me and therefore cannot really play lol. joined charissa's gang and just acted as we are from secondary school and went ard having fun. it's even more weird for charissa cos she knows so many there! hahaha.

actually it's more of having fun than anything lah! haha

all of them were fun lah i'd say. some really easy questions, some mediocre, but the Identity game was really simple LOL :D. and the TRM girls are chio too!! finally i can say BA got some chiobu(s)! wahahahaha.

mostly we played-and-run. cos we just needed the stamps and when we collect all plus some signatures from 3 silly people who refuse to give out their signatures and always denying it's them we'd get "a bodyknit's sweater". and u'll perfectly understand what i mean when i say i rather NOT HAVE THEM!

feel so exposed cos there are familiar faces ALL AROUND!! and even the Inline Skate Club! LOL. they did their usual performances, slaloms, aggro, and jumps. they should have slide performances too though!!

aggro wasnt really good i'd say. alil bit unsynchronised and i duno what stunts they wanna know that kinda thingy. slaloms were okay as usual, and the impressive one is still the jumps.

long video of the jump performances. wanted to video the slaloms one too but it was like halfway-halfway so not really nice.

and yes, for those who have been following, stuntman Xander's 11 man jump again!
it's always impressive lah. and it seems like damn easy to jump for Xander. hahaha.

decided to join them later and headed to underpass to withdraw my skates and lappy. they had another performance at Atrium then we all headed to Makan Place to eat. skating in Makan Place makes the 2600 sq feet seem small! LOL :D.

and it's damn cool lah. hahaha. been given alot of interested and surprised glares to see us skating there as we carry our food and manuveur ard too :) hahaha. was even stopped a couple of times by groups when they needed some directions.

visited many of my juniors from fuhua and many more! encouraged them to come NP! hahaha. finally went back to join the skaters then slacked there while charging my phone (after that video taking, my phone battery sucks, rmb? )

went for skate training as usual. learned abit more on backskating, some unperfect Nelson, trained Powerslide and right crossovers! had a rather funny encounter with idol wilson's gf too. hahaha. and i didnt know lah!! silly wilson u didnt update me! haha.

injuries like this are so common lah.
it may seem painful and disgusting or whatever...
but actually they dun hurt alot, and im serious!!
thatz why u're recommended to be on ur skate guards at all times.

(but it might leave a scar!!!)

and as usual, Saw Han Soo aka Luaggage Boy started coming in to flirt again LOL. xiaojun was telling me she wanna join skate club and stuff and asking me abt the incharge, what we do, alil of this and that, and finally led to this:

LOL. damn funny lah!
and i really related it in that same way! LOL :D.

after skate training joined ivy and gang to dinner (supper) at Broadway coffeeshop near IMM. damn it's cheap there lah! $2 for the fishball noodles! really worth it, considering that it's not bad too!

best part? 24 hours!

gonna take more photos to elaborate! he have really special money notes too!! some notes that i really didnt notice and realise before!! apparently jerome told me they are Legal Tender. hmmmm....

oh and yay! no need to rush so much for LMS! cos tutor was really kind and allowed the class to present next week! yay. only gabriel's group did the presentation today. our rushing did pay off alil as we showed her our work for some checking, which she gave positive comments for! :)

we better give an impactful prensentation. im counting on LMS/IAC to get me my AD. my earler goals and targets need to be ammended! :(. settled our prensentation materials to tutor too!

had criss waiting for me outside my class (apparently) . had pastamania with criss @ westmall. wanted Causeway Point but it was too far and i wouldnt be able to rush back in time for coaching skate at senjar.

eventually still reached there late cos 187 was so freaking slow. and omg coaching today is quite bad! had this student, Bianca, and she kept freaking crying!!! she refuse to learn properly! she is a long-time student and is supposed to be learning some slaloms already but she is still stuck at Level 3.

i retaught her some skills and it seemed quite fine until there were some confusions abt her level and where she is supposed to go. and later when Ernest came by to ask her where she wanna go she started crying nonstop! moreover so freaking loud!!

and it made me seem as though i molested her or something thatz why she's crying LOL. funny lah, but not when u cant calm a crying child down! lol. for a moment i hoped i learnt early childhood LOL!

there's really nothing to tame this little mosnter!! she kept wanting mummy mummy mummy. so many people and even Uncle (kinda like the supervisor of all us coaches) even came and still cant help anything.

finally the aunty came and literally dragged her away. then later i was assigned to another 2 monkeys. super playful and hyperactive! kept wanting to play catching and smacking my ass (LOL YA THEY SERIOUSLY WANNA DO THAT!)

and they just like to keep falling like no one's business lol. as though it's not pain lah! haha nonetheless i brushed up their skills and they are quite fine lah. took some group photos too!

cleaned my contact lenses finally using some proper (recommended) cleaning methods. this AO Sept is acidic!!

neutralises and reacts with the metal inside! and their reaction gives off efferversences and probably clean the lense in the process?

New Year Resolutions

i will try my best to achieve my New Year Resolutions. no promises given, but i will really try my best! they are just resolutions but sometimes they really mean alot as motivations or something.

and actually there are many small catergories if i really wanna state all my resolutions. well i shall keep it short and limit it to 10! :)

1. Get Fit
and i mean it! i mean like gymming, swimming or doing some exercises. though not often, but it's like just to prepare myself for NS and increase my overall fitness
no dieting required though! haha :D

2. Get 6 Packs
same as above, by gymming and building up that muscles!
muahahaha. and hopefully they can show!

3, Be very proficient in skating!
this means knowing many tricks, taking part in competitions (and hopefully getting good placements), mastered many areas of skating, having many slalom and slide tricks up my sleeve, etc.
by training really hard!

4. Bring my Cumulative GPA to 3.4 ±1!
and this means working really hard! it's hard to pull grades especially when so many modules are tested and when poly life's so tough!
but i will try

5. Pack my room & keeping it nice and tidy 60% of the time!
i'll start with the floor! lol. i wanna come to my own room with a smiling face and not stepping on; used underwear, old notes, insect battles, used condoms , smelly room, dusty bed, etc.
and then my table
and then my cupboards
and then my closet
LOL obviously im exaggerating! hahaha :)

6. Try to do homeworks and attend school punctually
keyword: try. lol. obviously i cant, so i have to make tiny baby steps to achieve them! and they also aid me in achieving my desired cumulative GPA, so i should!!!
but dun kill me if i dun!

7. Get my ass overseas with buddies (NOT FAMILY)!
whether if it means saving alot for a long time or something! i wanna have fun like never before with friends. i know travelling overseas with friends and family are completely different things (or least it'd be the way i want it to be!). whether anot Mum allows!
like obviously! LOL :D.

8. Bring 2 more people in the religion
self-explanatory.

9. Better Time Management
and the baby steps: plan ahead; anticipate changes; calendar down dates & imprt issues; prioritising; identifying & casting away unnecessary time wastage; etc.
though it's really difficult, i'd try

10. ~~Single and Avaiable~~
hopefully it'd last, not too short, yet again not too long. i dun wanna burden my partner for my NS with those attachments, commitments and everything.
but i dun wanna a too serious relationship too!

these resolutions might not come true, they are just stated statements which i will work hard to achieve. it's not my principle or something i have to live with, it's just my guidelines, and perhaps alil bit of my wishes too!

and u can help by reminding me from time-to-time (not too often!).

well it's been pretty much exciting before i go and fun after i experienced. went along with charlie and his friends cos couldnt manage to ask anyone else out. but it's still fun nonetheless! :D.

my preparations.
i had been wanting to wear these ever since it's my birthday and i got them.
and i was afraid im overdressed LOL :D
and im so gonna go Bangkok for all my shopping needs! hahaha.
they are so freaking cheap lah! charlie's entire outfit costed less than $30 (less: shoes!)

and using my new shoes too! :D

been zilian too! hahaha. it's an occasion to celebrate my losing of my club viriginity what!! hahaha.

heh :D.

dinner's at subway and met some of charlie's angmoh girlfriends. were tgt until we headed to Zouk, and the girls cant wait for the long queue and wanna go Clark Quay to check it out. since one of them had a curfew (and itsnt supposed to be out anyway).

it's like pretty much an eye-opener. tickets were $38. quite expensive. finished a drink as soon as we entered. crowd came in only aft 11pm. and thatz when it got really crowded. hahahaha. was at Phuture all the way until it was few mins before countdown as jhunboon came. then we headed to Zouk.

jhunboon u spoiled my fun! LOL :(
girls there are wild. they'd really dance with u and stuff. cool :D:D.

and maybe thatz why....

cool shit! LOL. but it's FREAKING EXPENSIVE! seriously! 7-11 would be ur better friend hahaha. but maybe the excuse of

after countdown Mambo Jambo theme begins. the partygoers arent trained in Mambo lol. many of them just followed the people on the podium. i dun really like Mambo dance themes. i prefer those at Phuture. but jhunboon didnt buy the pass to enter both clubs. which is so depressing haha.

we were thristy after awhile and wanted to take a short break and charlie wanted to go home too. he's alil off form and wanted to go home too. someone suggested 7-11 and we were literally climbing over fences and everything to get to 7-11 @ Great World (cos we didnt know the Shell station nearby had 7-11).

used up all our free drinks. couldnt afford the drinks there! Charlie's recommedation was good (but i forgot what it was!). wanted to go home with NRs since mum was asking me home and since there was New Year's Service at 9am too. decided not to find charlene @ Lau Par Sat cos didnt want to waste $$ on taxi!

finally went home with the first few buses and another transfer bus home. listened to jhunboon's stories and adventures while on the sleepy trip back. hahaha. didnt really sleep when i get home though!

handphone died on me at ard 5am after all that mass sending of sms and taking photos and videos. pretty handicapped but was okay! and my handphone take quite a long time to have a full charge!!

when i logged in, i tot i was disconnected or not properly connected and i really tried a few resign-ins! LOL i just couldnt believe it. it was essentially 0 out of 1000 online (cos the ones online are away!) LOL.
P.S. btw i dun have that many contacts, i just cant be bother clean them up!

the number of replies i had after i sent out all my new year greetings! LOL :D.
didnt wanna reply them cos was kept busy at the club and also wanting to conserve phone battery. =x.

P.S. btw all of them, even charlie used fake IDs. and they can actually can look so real!! charlie's Made In Thailand is the best! quality is perfect and everything seems genuine lol.

the last time, these xmas greetings were sent out very late. cos i was fiddling with the phone trying to get it to mass-send the msgs. until i realised:
1) the sms will be changed to mms if i include more than xx receipients (forgot, but ~~ALOT~~)
2) the sms will be changed to mms if it exceeds 6 pages of sms (and that sucked! caused me problems in creating that new year's greetings)

2 Reasons Why I Don't Like The Innov8:

1) the phone uses alot of power & therefore the battery life is short.

and it really is! well i duno whether it's due to improper charging or manufacturing defects on the battery, but it's stamina is really worrying! i cant tell whether what i have been given is a 1000mAh or a 1200mAh battery. but it's a fact that phone uses alot of power! the battery component will heat up quite alil when i run multiple programs, use the internet, and msg.

especially when i do heavy messaging!
(btw thatz not my phone's display)

2) some features of the phone; no Xeon flash; cant go next song and previous song easily; certificate error when installing some applications.

cant help it, perhaps some applications arent trusted by the phone perhaps to protect it's system stability (but damn, why cant they let me install!)

in some phones (especially SE's), pressing and holding the volume button changes the song but Innov8 increases/decreases the volume rapidly! which is really kinda dumb. and i dislike that!

dual LED flash isnt that bad though, but the Xeon flash would definitely be brighter and more useful! :)

all in all, with so much said, i'd just say that Samsung Innov8 totally rocks and i love it alot! :). i had previously worried so much abt the pricing and whether it would drop but it was cleared when i had an 'additional $70 off'. why? see this post, application of BLAW :)

mum had a mini xmas party on 25th.

in preparations!

the prepared turkey & ham & beef & butter head lettuce & cherry tomatoes! :D:D

there was quite a spread when everyone came, some bringing other foodstuffs especially from Uncle David's beloved cooking & his Mee Goreng :D. it's really like buffet-style packing, but the quality is far better than buffet caterers! mum and bro always pick up pointers from The Chef.

POST-XMAS

been out for some good food treats! yay! hahaha. 28th was a big temple service as it's the last service before the end of the month, and it's to purify the year's bad karma and head to the new year 'clean'.

i had a sudden arrangement to teach skate to a family of 3 daughters (no funny thoughts here!). and mum didnt wanna eat the same things again and again, so we headed to Old Airport Road to have some really good and exotic food! :) hahaha.

Albert Street Prawn Noodles $4-$5.

Homemade Black Pepper Satay! it's really really peppery! spicy but really good and tasty! not expensive too! (cheaper than ur local satay pengkang-er!)

didnt i mention EXOTIC food earlier?

$40 for a Crocodile Paw! hmmmmm...

food was really good. drinks were expensive (oomparatively) but they have almost all the good food there! alot of Makan Places Lost'n'Found around!

criss's first time having Alfredo upsize. and PastaMania is cheapo! canceling the Student Promotion when it's the school holidays! ahhh that is like so dumb. end up i have to use my temp VIP Card. also used all the $2 X 3 vouchers that they gave me when i turned in my cards for the VIP Card.

it seems im the better photographer! :D hahaha.

westmall no longer sells the hard black plastic casing to protect my phone! i think i wont get it even if they may have. cos they cost $20! i mind as well wait till Bugis has the stock for it. but any delay and my phone is subject to more damage lol

finally collected my contacts that was long due for collection from Optic Point and got a few items as the starter kits. my permanent contacts is fitting quite well, and i can see as well if not better than my spectacles!

power of the 21st century: technology is incorporated into the lens! my lens has 5 lines of engraving which is the heavier part of the lens meant to correct my Astigmatism .

it will usually fall back to the place where it's supposed to be by gravity, at my eye's 6 o'clock if i just pop them on. if my vision is still blur after plenty of blinks, then i gotta take them out and rewear them at the 6 o'clock. cool huh? hahaha.

but i cant afford the extreme cleaning methods. AO SEPT Plus is recommended to me. and the cleaning, after the optometrist has explained, seems to be quite thorough. so i guess i'd use it really sparingly and perhaps once a month!

once every 3-4 days i'll use the soapy cleaner, rub, saline & rinse, soak with MPS.
once every week i'd repeat above, and add drops of protein remover on each lens while they are soaking.
once every month i'll just soak it in the AO SEPT Plus, one-step solution!

people dining on the roof of a car porch! what place to eat, lol. horns blaring, cars revving, right @ orchard road. hmmmm... interesting but i dun think i will dine there! haha.

i was undercharged and i refuse to pay the balance.

my Samsung Innov8, has 3 advertised prices.

- i have been following the price of the phone (like duh)
- my recontract, a PV100, entitled me to the most expensive advertised price, $568.
- Zhen Hua, the fucking guy who served me, was giving damn bad service, talking on phone and serving me.
- i politely asked whether he was free to serve or do i have to wait for my turn
- he did the transactions and i got my phone
- payment required; he keyed wrong values, the PV300's price of $498
- i had $250 of cash vouchers; amt payable: $248
---- OFFER ------
- i paid using NETS, without checking or anything, as it didnt occur to me.
------------ ACCEPTANCE ----------- (contract formed)

- i left and was overjoyed with my new toy
- went to fill up some lucky draw coupons
- received a call from Zhen Hua, telling me that he undercharged and $70 need to be paid

- mind you, the tone wasn't friendly and doesnt seem like a REQUEST
in situations like these, u MUST politely ask the customer, in a pleading manner, being as friendly as u can be to ask for the balance of the paymeent to be met.

- i 'promise' him that i would go up and pay the $70 balance
- after some contemplation, i decided not to (like duh! who wants to pay!)
- sat down at coffeebean awhile.
- that fucker went to send his staff to go ard westmall looking for me, like some fucking gangster behaviour.
- when i finally left, he managed to find me (so suay)
- i refuse to pay and gave excuses
- he cant force me in anyway to pay
- he refuse to accept my reason of, 'i need to rush home'.

"look here (fucker)! i am NOT OBLIGED to pay u any amount that u have mistakenly accounted for. i dun have to oblige any of ur REQUEST. and im in a rush, i got to go"

2) his fucking attitude problem & bad customer service
3) sue for harassment & defamation.

i would surely win the case! there was a contract and any promises made after that is past consideration, and im not obliged to pay him anything. he CANNOT sue me or recover any damages. Relevant case: Re McArdle. conversely, i can sue him for defamation and harassment!

grateful that i studied BLAW, gives me a little more insight into my legal rights and expands my authority. it also makes me so much more confident when i was confronted by him as he demanded payment.

i duno why so many people is telling that it's very nice to watch when it's not. i really think the show is really draggy and boring at times. alil comedy is introduced but it's not really funny as in getting the audience to laugh.

i really only like the fight scenes. the storyline is rather okay but it's taken out from the novels! the casting was pretty okay, suspense was pretty okay, romance was pretty okay, and the movie's just okay.

2hrs is a long runtime which they could make good use of to add more fightscenes and introduce the story much more, instead of totally centering ard isabella & edward. they should devote some screentime to their frens and their romance and try to introduce the next series!

been driving ard for quite sometime (legally and illegally, shhhh!) and im proud to say im getting more and more confident with the test car. unfortunately the reason why it's not my dad's car is cos i ain't used to the over-sensitive brake pedals and the lack of the clutch pedal and one naggy non-stop blabbering mum in the car.

though no new test routes have been introduced to me apart from that Teck Whye slopey test route, i think i've been asked to go some places which i've never gone before and some of them are actually the test routes!

im making less and less mistakes and now my engine doesnt stall anymore (hurrays!). seriously it's hard to get used to clutching, clutching and more clutching. but im proud to say that i could even handle those e-brakes by the instructor suddenly w/o a stall :D.

i know my weakpoints and i gotta work on it. tight spots, vertical and parallel parking (with real cars, not poles!), insufficient/over steering,

and im starting to tolerate my Instructor Raymond cos he isn't annoying me much already. well i guess cos i've learnt most of it and he's just facilitating and pointing out errors and some important points to take note of, instead of scolding and critising like he used to. but he still has got one damn bad habit (possibly on purpose) to go toilet, collect his stuffs, do his personal things while im having my lessons with him.

nonetheless, i wont say he's no good in terms of teaching experience and content of his lessons. he may be irritating but in life it's not abt firing and firing till u find the right worker yahs? compromising is good!

how i wish! lol.

but well, it sure does seem like the semestral breaks already! but goshhh! i really need this break!! studies and everything are just killing me! they have been piling up since the start of this sem. and i havent really cleared them!

the CTs are quite timely i'd say. it keeps me on track of studies, as i revise and try to understand the basic concepts. though there were only 3 papers tested, they were already enough for me to know that i need to buck up!

POA was a killer. my Balance Sheet couldnt balance. and the marks allocated to it was scary! luckily the assessment breakdown for POA allowed me to save my ass with the small %tage tests!

told u my POA wasnt good all along!

i dont even know if i would even pass it lah! :(. i have never understood POA since the start of this sem. i havent been practising. darn! at least i will make efforts to make sure i dun get a C for POA!

my experience with BSTATS in Sem 1.1 have some effect i'd say. at least i wont be making the same mistake and get a C for POA. my Culmulative GPA's gonna suffer like shit if i dun buck up for my final tests!

and that reminds me, all these doesnt signal the start of holidays! there is still upcoming Test 2 for MAEC, which that, for sure, will not be as easy as the paper we've had! a 20% test on Aggregate Expenditure and Fiscal Policy. such a heavy weightage!! it's really gonna be scary!!

coming to think of it also, holidays arent really holidays. i expect many project meetings when holidays are almost ending for presentations. some dates for my group have already been set though.

BLAW was frightening but was quite manageable, same goes for MAEC. for those both however, i feel MCQ have too much weightage! 4 marks is like one wrong is DAMN COSTLY!

especially for BLAW. the 4 marks is just not justifiable lah. it's like LAC (an essay-kinda question) only gives u 26 marks, and the MCQ costs u 4 marks already! even the short answer questions only give u 6 marks! at least for MAEC, the entire paper is just T/F and MCQ.

might barely scrap past a pass for POA. more confident for BLAW and MAEC!! hopefully i wont flunk my CTs this time. placed quite reasonable effort to study for them! (compartively to previous Common Tests and back in secondary school! LOL :D)

it's sad. i've waited so long for C905 yet when it was launched im totally disappointed. well i've waited very long. and i had very high expectations for the phone. and in my reasons below, i will explain why.

the group of contenders:

C905, LG KC910, Pixon, InnoV8

the LG and the Pixon is out of my consideration cos they are touchscreen phones. and i hate touchscreen phones cos they are super hard to do any messaging and other functions are not as good. nonetheless the touchscreen features might also be very useful at times! (when drawing faces on ur contact's faces directly from the phone LOL!)

so anyway, the competition is between C905 and InnoV8. let's compare their designs!

colour varities are better. but C905 is much fatter and thicker. and i kinda hate the buldging part of the phone.

doesn't it look like a real camera? it's protected by a shutter which will open when taking photos. and the phone seems slim at least!

and it wont have accidental power wastages when u accidentally hit the camera buttons, so u wont turn on the camera unncessarily! (which kinda also makes it a hassle to Menu --> Camera --> *push button to desired mode)

microSD slot. cheaper and a bigger storage alternative to the M2. it also uses microUSB slot for data transfers and recharges. sadly not the same port like USB hubs and even the Sony PSP.

the keypad is said to be good and the feedback from it is also good. unlike the C905. i havent personally tried both. there is Symbian S60 OS for the InnoV8 and a 128MB RAM too! i duno how the messaging like for Samsung phones though, and how it records customised dictionary words. but as far as i rmb, Samsung phones are like Nokia phones, using almost the same way of T9 and Predictive Text Input.

i checked her out. and yes my memory doesnt fail me! it's the same as nokia phones. we can edit the Dictionary, just like for SE! it's a English-Chinese Dictionary. but u can download free apps even a English-French Dictionary from *various sites* when i get the phone and do the downloads i will update again! :D

10. most of the formats for audio/video are supported --> dun have to worry abt converting!

and u can clearly see the difference in the photos, which is clearer and noiser! and i kinda hate the look of the Xeon flash - ít's too bright and causes the image to look too white-washed!

take note the amount of detail captured with the InnoV8. u can the lines much clearer with the InnoV8 than the C905! a great detail to note when i wanna take pictures of bills, receipts, and sometimes even lazily 'scanning' notes for my friends.

might/might not be common from me. life is full of ups and downs. it's a never ending cycle. whatever that comes up must come down, murphy's law. i've had my ups. and sometimes it's good to experience the downs life have for me.

studies. im lacking alot. im falling behind my peers. i duno and dun feel like catching up. i lost that motivation. i cant find it. i dun there is an Edusave Awards for poly students. im awaiting MoE's reply after i tried to convince them too.

i think i know where my problem is. i really need some kinda motivation to do something. i need to convince this practical mind of mine. i gotta like see a reward before i will start to do anything. how to solve it though, i wish i knew! perhaps u think that i could always find my motivation elsewhere somehow.

i've been trying. i just cant find it. for it to pass, it gotta get thru my practical mind's scrutiny. and motivation goes a hella outta way for me! it can push me to do the impossible things. Nothing Is Impossible.. slowly but surely i will find that motivation!

sigh sigh sigh for love. it's like friends ard me are all getting attached. people are finding their happiness yet im stuck in here in reverse. nothing seems to be improving. perhaps there's no rush... but it's really hard to explain things here. ahhh when can i find my darling?

pei-ed criss to funan. he's finally got his lappy fixed. fujitsu replaced all the parts, machiam like brand new, and after 4 trips, the lappy is finally in working normal condition. he kept insisting on a pastamania (mmm my favourite!!!) but i told him to save it. we are poor people. and poor people must spend their $$ wisely! lol.

there's AIDS pledge going abt in school too. volunteers are asking people to pledge to only have one sex partner for life, no sex before marriage stuff, yah those bullshit lol =x.

was late for BMGT tutorial again. and attention was paid to PES09 instead of POA or BMGT lol =x. had to respond to challenge & revenge requests too what! hahah.

maec tutorial was over-extended as usual. too bad we gotta cut her short this time cos we've got that briefing abt our IS selection modules. as usual tutor Ng Mun Kit couldnt complete the intended tutorial and have to postpone it to next year (cos classes begin only next year!)

dss test during tutorial was simple. tasks were given on a task sheet. was quite easy. marks allocation is screwed lah! saving into a proper filename gives u 2/40! giveaway marks +14! 16/40, basic knowledge of function (especially vlookup) gurantees ur pass in the test already!

40/40 for me for sure (maybe -2 marks for careless mistakes)! not bragging but it's really easy if u have been following dss properly (seems to be the only module im not worried for!!)

dss ended earlier and BMGT group used the free time to discuss BMGT. quite unproductive though. cafe deli's quickbite rice bowl ftw! funny aunty chat lol. drinks were on me! (i mean VENDING MACHINE's drinks, not BARTENDER's drinks LOL :D)

they were practically people rollerbalding, but cos it was dark, and because of the view, on first look it seems like the people are moving like ghosts what! LOL :D. (now i know how i seem like in the night muahahahaha :D).

watched thru the entire skate lesson. picked up a few pointers. they were teaching a skate class completely having no skate experience before. kiasu parents formed the perimeter with occasional cheers and encouragement for their precious little kiddos! lol.

Instructor Daniel was coaching. my fuhua senior, currently Mass Comm Year 3. he's really funny and a freaking daredevil lah lol. approached him halfway to enquire if they needed skate instructors.

surprisingly Skater's Academy required my expertise though i didnt go thru the ISA (Inline Skating Association)'s certification (which they will put my thru!). guess it was pull-strings but nonetheless i'd glad. being paid for my passion is something great! :D (not paying for my passion!). and thatz a yay for sure! :D.

had ban main @ CU for dinner as usual. then sent peiyu back after my lappy died on them while they were Daytona-ing. hahaha.

went for 2 hours of LMS in sch. that really sucked though. hence we came up with a new arrangement next week. formed our LMS group too. went back to similiar groups. tried to arrange our meetings but minyi's schedule is super tight lah.

went back home to take skates and then left house to senjar. had dinner with julian first. skated to 188 bus stop. 188 came but i haven took out skates and i flagged the bus down and the damn guy didnt stop!! damn lah! i was in a conspicuous orange lah!!

i even rushed to the next bus stop and tried to flag it down but it still didnt stop for me. fuck that driver! had to wait 20mins for 160 to arrive then took that to ten mile junction and headed to senjar court.

received my instructions, tried to pick up the many pointers, tried my best to supervise and teach the kids. luckily i wasnt asked to do a right crossover cos i couldnt! LOL =x.

damn seeing their level and progress, i really oughtta do my own skate training!! Instructor Joshua cant be lousier than students right? ahhh! =x. went thru the Training List and few things i cant is backcrossover and right crissover. but i gotta train up!!

holidays i guess! :). i didnt expect to be paid. was given $10 though. heard that ernest's father started NP Inline Skate Club too. cool! hang out with the fuhua gang, daniel and justin and me. wilson lee was there too. omg lah they are all Naruto freaks. even the kids too! LOL.

all the instructors there have their own nicknames. lol. i will be going for some certification courses soon too. skated home with wilson and showered upon reaching home to waiting fB people. sorry!

bought our drinks from Cam Mart then started our mahjong session. overnighted. cooked magi for all of them for breakfast. thought gonna continue but they all KO-ed. offered peiyu and yuling my bed but peiyu prefered home.

cleared up and eventually they all left for home. i slept immediately after they left. peiyu lost $10, i lost $2 and yuling lost $5. hahaha. thanks to my 2 big wins that helped to cover my losses yay :D.

luck wasnt on peiyu's side i'd say. she's improving fast though. yuling made some mistakes but luck wasnt on her side too. and cos she kept playing pengwu when pongpong is better. for me? i just lack that freaking pulling power. damn wilson and his luck though. lucky even to get 1,2,3,4 of flowers and a flower top! damn!!

slept late into the afternoon on saturday. pretty much a boring weekend with no outings or anything. was kept busy with alot of stuffs though. finally managed to complete this blog post on thursday, 4 Dec LOL =x.

sorry people for the lack of updates. was really busy with so many things and also not having much mood to blog either (those who have read my blog earlier would know!) and then there's so much homework to do with so little time, so much projects deadlines to meet, friends, family, and temple commitments. the list is like never ending lah.

let's backtrack now. let's see, basically bought skates, bought permanent contacts, checked out my darling, bought 4D, lotsa practical @ driving, fun thursday after training, celebrating peiyu's 18th birthday, and overnight mahjong @ my house :D.

it's really famous for its sports stuff. so if u wanna get any related to sports or brands like adidas u can check that place out! also they have really nice stuff for guys there that are affordable too! im going there when i have the capital to spend on some clothes! :D:D:D.

looked for this jhad guy who used to sell me the Radius skates too. the shown price of $329 is "Discounted" to $239 and finally to $200. yay lol :D. Radius is getting really very popular everywhere lah! haha.

he felt good in Radius, and since the rest of the other skates were slightly more pricey and out of his budget, which is those 'can use can already'. nonetheless Radius is more than good i'd say.

i gotta get his name etched in my memory if i were to bring more people to buy skates from him. so that he can give more discounts yay lol :D. got him to give me an Allan Key too. i need those to change my skating wheels.

SEBA Carbon is here! omg! i so wanna get it next year LOL. my Radius is much for all the hardcore stuffs and the SEBA Carbon is to show them off and for some sleek slaloming when i get pro enough! but it's really expensive to begin with and im not sure if i would actually buy them o.o. i'd have to work!! it's a $998 price tag!!

it's relatively easy to get to there from NP, just take 61 and stop after u've seen it. it's very near IKEA. and there is great food nearby for dinner/lunch :D:D:D. like what a good compliment! good shopping + good food! haha.

Soon Lai BBQ Fish's Fried Rice. omg this is superb and reasonable prices! they really give u seafood, prawns, sotong and lots of it! they really honour their Seafood Fried Rice unlike those 'zhi chao' stalls! and the best part of it? it's $3!!

the fried rice is delicious and is very different from those 'zhi chao' stalls. it's got it's own taste, and moreover it's served on Banna Leaf to top it all! luckily im blogging this after im full from my dinner LOL :D. and ahhh andy! sorry for not bringing u along LOL :D:D.

Seng Heng Carrot Cake. omg Fried Rice + Carrot Cake. what a perfect match! hahaha. their carrot cake is really good cos it's not too oily, it's not totally egg or totally carrot cake, it's just good. there's black/white. both are equally good but my personal preference for the whtie + chilli haha :D.

PES with mates is always damn fun. there's always this feeling of 'omg i must win u' when i play against them, unlike against the CPU.

daniel getting pwned LOL! most of them were minute mistakes that i took full advantage of. some were super nice chances i've set up for myself and the rest were really funny stuffs that the players did. LOL :D. definitely unsatisified, daniel demanded a rematch.

and he's quite close to getting his revenge LOL :D. 7-1 is the best score i ever got against anyone with a rather good difficulty (Professional or 4 Stars).

gamed with Qasier too. godddd he's good! his tatics change with the field and he holds the ball excellently. tough opponent! won him nonetheless, 2-1 yay :D. hahaha.

and i foresee alot of future rematch challenges. LOL.

was not late for DSS tutorial on wednesday! yay felt happy LOL. (i came in at 9.08am though =x). decided that we should meet sometimes in the holidays for our BMGT project due next year. luckily it stretches to in between our 3 weeks break! yay :D.

decided to have lunch @ killney @ cheong chim nam road nearby school. long time since we've been there ever since the sister-brother period and our nice times as an ITB group.

had to buy 4D for andy. hope he'd win cos i'd get a 30% cut LOL. (but nah, i'd buy for him whether anot he gives me a cut lah hahaha). but since i havent officially bought 4D before, and i dun wanna waste that 'beginneer's luck', i went to buy some numbers for myself too! LOL :D.

took 174 to town with criss. headed to SHAW Centre first but the optometrist was tending to other customers. headed to the Wisma's Sony Style to check her out. she dun really take beautiful pictures. those kinda that i had the impression would impress me alot but in the end it disappointed me. the video isnt too good as i can see some frames in the video recording playback.

nonetheless i gotta use it longer before giving an accurate review. and im gonna so get the silver one too! the gold/brown is very ugly i think! :(. and the black is too common colour for a phone. father isnt really willing to sponsor anything but ill try talking to him again. if he really dun want, i'd ask for his permission to use all the Starhub points, then pay the balance of ard $418 for the phone! i doubt he will get for me if i wait any longer unless the price of the C905 drops till $0 (in a few years time probably! but damn i dun wanna wait that long!)

went back to SHAW Centre Optic Point after im done playing with my darling. had my eyetest and yay there hasnt been much changes! i havent been taking special care for my eyes. infact i dun really care and it's good news to hear that all's the same except for my left contacts, which increase by 25 only to 375, and some astigmism increment.

making the change to permanent lenses is so that i can save money on monthlies! also since im quite a seasoned contact lenses wearer already and i cant go out without them! (not literally but generally) cos i heard permanent lenses have a very long usage life! Dr. Simon's a good optometrist. he's quite nice and friendly. i feel warm when he's telling me stuff, even some scoldings for not cleaning my monthlies properly cos of the protein build up on the lenses.

kinda forced criss to go for an eyecheck too. and finally he's been taught the proper contact lenses handling procedures. finally he's got a proper eyecheck and now he knows his real effective reading distance. and he still can give me bullshit abt not needing to see the optometrist and stuff, saying that it's a waste of money and stuff.

and criss is also way too honest. before doing any eye test he was told he might need to pay or something. and then after the eyetest, since the optometrist didnt demand any payment so just freaking leave the place lah. criss was trying to be 'nice and honest' enough to tell the staff to contact me should any payment is needed. that is dumbness and not being nice.

and before u take any offence, let me tell u that this is all to make u alil wiser and being streetsmarter. it's the principle of practicality and not principle of morals when it comes to dollars and SENSE, my dear friend!

food portion was surprisingly very little. terence headed elsewhere while i gayed with criss at ourspace. i let him game @ PES 2009 until i gtg for my driving. as usual i didnt estimate the time correctly and end up waiting for bus only at 3.20pm when the lesson starts at 4pm. dammit lah! so i had to take mrt to reach Lakeside in time.

i still love the camera quality of the k800i. damn! N81 camera sucks lol. =x. learnt quite alot of practical today. Gear 4: Danger avoiding, Defensive Driving, Etc. so some recap on parking, 3-point turn, balancing, and going thru of the test routes.

bulk of the practical knowledge came in to avoid danger as Jurong has so many people just suddenly crossing the streets liddat, and lights changing very quickly and it's really quite a challenge to drive liddat.

gonna have my circuit on 5 Dec, and that is when i can go Gear 5, after i've learnt more stuffs and the crank courses! was brought to one of the test routes in Teck Whye. and omg lah seriously, all the theories suddenly are formed lah. (yes they are that wanting ur pass).

telling me which slope i have to handbrake, which location i must start braking and changing gears, which gear i should be using for this stretch, omg lah seriously. it really feels as though it's an EXAMINATION, as in those semestral you-can-study modules! though much of it is still abt antipication and stuff, it's like this is ONLY one test one route! there are so many others!

oh and yay! i've got a new top speed, 60 km/h yay LOL! :D. im so sure i will hit 70 km/h on Dec 5 LOL :D. cos i kinda forgotten that i was allowed to go to the max speed of the road im traveling at even as a learner.

also had my remaining schedule planned until next year. im not sure if dad will agree to some of the lessons. and i gotta find a time to discuss with him (provided he give me that chance!). i cant be struggling to pay for my driving! and i deserve that amount of money to be spent anyway.

losing more pple makes me feel like quitting too. now u can really see the different cliques and stuff lor. so many arent going back for skate trainings and i duno how to mingle ard anymore.

ahhh life's bad for me. seriously. in all areas. too long to elaborate but it really is bad for me. superstition or not, i didnt pray taoist-ically for the 'fan tai sui' this year. nonetheless it's a hard year for me so far. cant wait for 09!!!

my heart's been broken yet again. she's attached. it's not easy to have mended it but now it's broken again. i guess this is just my fate? i know the saying there is thousands of trees and what have you... but how many of these trees are rooted the ground and are unwilling to move?

i guess i just have this karma or something. i see couples ard me everywhere. inline skate club is turning into relationship club. couple frens are getting closer and closer. mixed feelings about them sometimes. and my single frens ard me are getting attached here and there.

haiz. and sometimes, u'd really feel so bad and just feel like Damn why isnt the person me?. and eventually u will come to a time when u will feel depressed. look on the bright side is all we can do i guess?

being single has got good and bad things abt it lah. it kinda sucks, it kinda rocks. depends on the lifestyle u're living. i think im more suited to be attached than not. and it's also not any Tom, Dick or Harry will do. it really takes time i guess?
